The York County Food Bank is participating in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, which provides a free box of food to York County residents age 60 and older meeting eligibility income guidelines.
Walgreens Pharmacy will be offering Flu Shots to anyone 18 years of age and older at participating Senior Centers, by pre-scheduled appointments ONLY. Individuals must visit the senior center prior to the clinic date to complete the Walgreens Registration Form, bring a copy of their Medicare and insurance cards and obtain an appointment time for their shot.

Join the 2010 United Way of York County in their "Day of Action" on September 10, 2010. This is a community-wide day of volunteering, in which hundreds of volunteers are connected with local nonprofit agencies. The "Day of Action" follows the 2010 United Way of York County Campaign Kickoff at the York Fairgrounds.
The York-Adams County Immunization Coalition, with partners: WellSpan Health, Memorial Hospital, York City Bureau of Health and York County Area Agency on Aging, will be offering FLU shots to York County residents 9 years and older. PNEUMONIA shots will also be available for eligible older adults. This year there will be two “Drive-Thru” Flu Shot clinics.
